The Bike Programme has become a key attraction for youngsters in the village, often serving as their first introduction to the center and leading them to explore other activities.

Several years ago, 50 bicycles were generously donated from the UK through the efforts of Noëlle and Kevin Ablitt. These bikes are now maintained under the watchful eye of intern Anwill Speelman, ensuring they remain in excellent condition.

Each afternoon, bike rides are organized under Anwill's guidance. He also conducts a program to teach the youngsters essential road safety and the rules of the road.

In a recent highlight, nine participants undertook a challenging 85 km ride to the seaside at Witsand over rough dirt roads. Upon completing the journey, they were awarded Certificates of Achievement.

The expedition was led by two boys from Project Hope, who proudly set the pace and guided the group to the finish.
